Porn Industry choose HD-DVD

Around this time every year, one particular place on the planet sees all the big dogs of the Porn Industry gather together to discuss everything and anything about their industry. This year, they decided to hold their meeting at the International CES event in Las Vegas, one of the biggest Technology events on the calendar.
It was by no coincidence then that the main topic of this annual meeting was the choice between HD-DVD and Blue Ray as a means of selling their future rompings. Quite famously, as most will remember VHS previously emergeed victorious over Betamax many years ago in the video tape wars. This is where it gets interesting. When the debate of “Betamax vs VHS” emerged, the porn industry had to make a decision being at the forefront of media production. They chose VHS!
All the top dogs were there this time around; some of you might have heard of Bang Bros. They were all unanimously in favour of HD-DVD as their preferred media for future production. Firstly Blue-ray is more expensive to produce. The Chief Executive of Bang Brothers had this to say: “One of the big problems they have with Blu-ray is its expense, followed by its market share. “Blu-ray has superior quality, yes,” said a spokesperson for porn studio Bangbros, “but HD DVD is easier to produce, cheaper to produce and there are more HD DVD players in homes than there are Blu-ray players, for example in the Xbox 360.” One of the other big issues is that Blue-ray discs can not be replicated.
With the porn industry being the first to choose HD-DVD over Blue-ray, how long before the majority of the movie industry decide the same. Surely the pron industry can’t be wrong :p
