Cheap Irish shop for memory sticks
A friend of mine told me about this irish online retailer recently and considering how cheap they are it would be a crime not to share with you all. They are based in Cellbridge in Co. Kildare and are called Memory Configurator. A bit of a mouthfull but with prices like these, who cares.

Ireland’s Sony Playstation 3 / PS3’s more expensive than the rest of Europe
[ratings]
Yes, we are getting ripped off again. Is it by Sony, or our government with the hefty 21% VAT we charge? I’ll leave you to decide.
Sony has confirmed that the 60GB Playstation 3 will retail in Ireland for €629.99 despite the fact that they will be available in the rest of Europe for €599.99.
A spokesperson for Sony had this to say:
“Ireland is traditionally more expensive than other territories,” the spokesperson explained.
“The VAT rate there is 21 per cent, whereas it can be as low as 16 per cent in other EU countries.”
Further details of the Irish and European launches are expecting in the next couple of weeks.
Problems with Overclockers.co.uk

If you’re like me, a pc gaming enthusiast who revels at the thought of upgrading his pc but spends months scrounging and scraping every penny together then please, take my advice, don’t buy from Overclockers. Because if you are like me, you will have many a sleepless night trying to avoid getting screwed over by them if something goes wrong.
I recently bought a few bits n bobs for a pc upgrade from overclockers. This was to be my first major upgade in 2 years so you cannot imagine my excitement when everything arrived. Unfortunately it didn’t last long.
