Dardoz gets stuck in

$25 million for a carbon dioxide sucker anyone?

It turns out Sir Richard Branson or Virgin, his company to be more specific is offering €25 million to any scientist who can come up with a way of sucking the carbon dioxide greenhouse gases from the atmosphere.

Branson talked about how some scientists believe we have already gone past the point of no return. That even if we drastically reduce the amount of gases we omit into the ozone, that the damage is irreparable.

Young scientists were baffled in Chester Zoo in the UK recently when an 8 year old Komodo dragon gave birth to 5 baby komodo dragons without ever having had contact with a male.

Kevin Buley, curator of the zoo said: “Flora is oblivious to the excitement she has caused but we are delighted to say she is now a mum and dad,”

The reptiles are all in good health and enjoying a diet of crickets and locusts.

This is not the first time this has happened to the species. Just last Arpil, Sungai another komodo dragon did exactly the same thing.

It would appear we are witnessing Parthenogenesis, a somewhat evolutionary fertilization of female eggs without any male contribution.
