Dardoz gets stuck in

Its that time of year again when Hollywood celebrates its worst movies of the year at the Razzies. This year sees a couple of stranger than usual nominations. Firstly, Sharon Stone’s breats has been nominated in the category of worst on screen couple for her role in Basic Instinct 2. The film itself has attracted 7 nominations: Worst Picture, Actress, Supporting Actor (David Thewlis), Director (Michael Caton-Jones), Sequel, Screenplay (Leora Barish and Henry Bean), and Screen Couple.

On top of this quirky nomination, Hilary and Haylie Duff have been jointly nominated for Worst Actress because they were so bad and to allow for more nominations.

Founder of the Razzies John Wilson explained: “We stuck the siblings together to allow room for more dreck.”

For anyone out there that has seen Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. You will love Sacha Baron Cohen’s Golden Golden acceptance speech.

This man just cracks me up. How anyone holds a straight face doing what he does amazes me.

Around this time every year, one particular place on the planet sees all the big dogs of the Porn Industry gather together to discuss everything and anything about their industry. This year, they decided to hold their meeting at the International CES event in Las Vegas, one of the biggest Technology events on the calendar.

It was by no coincidence then that the main topic of this annual meeting was the choice between HD-DVD and Blue Ray as a means of selling their future rompings. Quite famously, as most will remember VHS previously emergeed victorious over Betamax many years ago in the video tape wars. This is where it gets interesting. When the debate of “Betamax vs VHS” emerged, the porn industry had to make a decision being at the forefront of media production. They chose VHS!

I’m a great believer in the popular opinion so before I watch movies I make a habit of checking out their rating on imdb. With a rating of 7.3 that Snakes on a plane received being well above average and most of my friends who have seen it raving about how much it rocked, I was excited to say the least when I badgered my wife into watching this with me.

WOW! Thats wow in a bad way by the way. I have just finished watching what can only be described as the most overhyped B movie I have seen in a long time. Not since The Blair Witch Project have I witnessed such an overblown pile of ***. This movie stunk from start to finish. The script was abysmal, the acting as bad and the CGI was right up there with…eh…Bambi 2, revenge of the reindeers.
